Sweetness in a Small Package...

Nevery Lorakeet's LpD just released a delightful dress called Bella and it is indeed a beautiful creation. Available in four color schemes, it is a sweet little number that will fit nicely into any wardrobe.  I chose to blog about the Stripe version, simply because I am trying to explore other color combinations - I think I've been shooting too much black (though I confess I seldom find a more delicious look than a black dress!)
As my long-time readers know, I've been playing with color combinations quite a bit as well in my blog and while I was so tempted to do a tone-on-tone look, I decided to make a bit bolder statement.  I like the result, and it will be fun to wear this cute outfit today.

So can you tell I was at Shoetopia? Haha.  Yes those are the wonderful L. Warwick Luscious platforms I am sporting, and what a beautiful pair of shoes they turned out to be!  I added some jewels from Lazuri and pink tights from SySy for Slink feet to complete this look.

I love everything from the racks of LpD, and this Bella is a must-have for your fashionable wardrobe. Take a quick trip to Neve's store in-world and get yours today..

My pose was from from The Muse Poses.

Enter the Surreal...

Aliza Karu's AD Creations has consistently produced some of the most fashion forward designs for Second Life.  Think about Avant Guard or Haute Couture and AD, at least in Second Life, is one of the next words on your lips. Today I am going to write about Why, Aliza's latest creation and one that is featured for the Dream Way charity event running now.   It is at once a sexy, alluring and fashionable creation.
I love this design!  So very engaging.  The texturing is just stunning, and coupled with some awesome Co57 PiaMia Platforms I was able to create a simple yet exciting outfit in a short time.  I also added jewels from Mandala to finish this look.
Ad Creations' Why is a must-have for your fashionable wardrobe.  Run over to the Dream Way event site and get your copy today.

The Vogue Look...

Vogue is a fashion leader in second life.  Today I will wrote about the latest creation from Vogue, Cara. This beautiful belted mini has a turtleneck and some exquisite detailing to boot - and you know how I love those little details.  I was quite impressed by the excellent texturing and the exceptional detail present int he belt.
I decided to keep this simple and in the end just added some Bax Regency boots that matched the belt leather and went with that.  I thing the results is a sophisticated semi-casual style that can be used in so many places - from date night at your fav rock club to a live music concert.  This is not a boring dress!

Vogue has really has  hit with this sweet design.

Another Paradox in Silk...

Malicia is one of the most talented people I know in Second Life.  Her store is like that shop in your town where you know you will find just the perfect thing to complete your project or your look.  From Makeup to skins to Slink nail appliers in a rainbow of colors to her amazing taste in fashion, Malicia's Silken Moon Boutique is a delight for your senses - ALL of them.  Tonight I am fighting off sleep because I simply had to get this blog written before I could sleep.  I am talking about a stunning new ensemble from Malicia called Paradox.  I've touched on one element of that line, tonight I write about Morpheous.  This delight in red tones and black is an exceptional example of the state-of-the-art in fashion design in Second Life.
I decided to shoot this lovely treat at one of my haunts - Venexia.  The two seemed to mesh well - the ancient stones of Venexia next to the soft edgy silk of Morpheous.  You know I am ALL about details, and this outfit is a feast of them.  From the perfect fit to the careful detailing of each exposed edge, Morpheous is stunning from every angle.  I completed this styling with jewels from Lazuri and my trusty Bax boots.

Silken Moon has really hit the mark with this creation.  It is a true pleasure for the eyes...

I think my favorite touch though is the sweet white bow at the back of the garter.  Wow!  What a sweet and sexy look.  I simply added some slink heels and built the set and the shoot just came together so nicely.
Black Lace has really hit the mark with this creation.   Ladies, if you want an incredible sexy outfit - get Lascivious today!  You will make someone very happy haha...

Quoth the Raven... Nevermore...

Of late my mornings have been interesting to say the least.  This morning I noted that a package had arrived from Alexandra Nichols, the owner and creative maven from NV Corsetry.  What I found when I opened the package and put the cloths on can barely be expressed in words.  First of all - WOW! Nevermore is the latest design in a long list of sexy, sensuous and alluring works done by Alexandra. And dear readers, this is my new favorite!
This is simply one of the sexiest outfits I've ever had.  I added some new Bax Regency thigh-high boots, some Bax fishnets and WOW!  Love the look and could not wait to shoot these pics.
Alexandra has really hit the mark with this creation.  I predict it will be a huge seller for her. Ladies, if you want an incredible sexy outfit - get Nevermore today!  You will be glad you did...

Arise ye Spirits...

Some of the most unusual and amazing hair produced in Second Life comes from the imagination and hard work of Mirja Mills from EMO-tions.  This morning she released an amazing hair - Mythos. Made to fit males or females, it is a stunningly complete - and complex hair.  The central feature is the set of horns, but off of them there are all sorts of talismans and trinkets - chains, medals, charms...  Truly a feast for the eye.
I had an idea for a shot and asked her if I could get a copy... within seconds I was in the photo booth staging these shots.  What a joy!  I would have to struggle to put together such and intricate display - and here Mirja did all the work!  Bravo!
Anyway, as you can see the results are certainly worth it.  Mythos is a must-have for anyone interested in role playing.  It covers so many areas of use I won't try to name them now.  Suffice to say, you will get a lot of use out of Mythos!

A Touch of Elegance...

What a joy it is to work with Malicia Python! She will most likely hate me for spilling that secret - that she is really a sweetheart of a woman - but I have to tell the truth to my dear readers. Anyway, while awaiting my impending doom, let me tell you about the stunning jewel of an outfit Malicia gave me this morning. But first a definition:

paradox is a statement that apparently contradicts itself and yet might be true. Most logical paradoxes are known to be invalid arguments but are still valuable in promoting critical thinking.

There is no contradiction here - Paradox from Silken Moon is a truly wonderful outfit and is a joy to behold. Once rezzed and placed on, one is not certain if it is clothing... or jewelry.  Suffice to say it is exceptionally detailed and wonderfully textured - all hot buttons in my book.
The top reminds me of the finest Chinese Cloisonné with luscious vibrant colors swirling in a breath taking design.  To achieve this look I used hair from Diva, shoes from Pixelfashion, makeup and nails from Blackliquid, and jewels from Mandala.  I think the results speak for themselves and I am so thankful that she sent this outfit to me!

This is another must-have for your SL wardrobe. If you want to impress - get this outfit!

Wrapped in Satin and Lace...

Last night I got a surprise package from Mariska Dufour - another incredibly sexy creation from Blacklace.  So, today I blog Michelle, a sexy corset lingerie set that is just incredible.  A mesh creation, Mariska told me it was her personal favorite, and I can see why.  Such intricate detailing and beautiful design make Michelle a delight to both wear and use in photography.
I added some jewels from Earthstones and Slink pumps from Hucci along with Slink stockings from Sysy to create this look.  The results are quite pleasing and I am so thankful that she sent this lingerie to me.

This is another must-have for your SL wardrobe. If you want to impress - get this set!

The Gift of a Woman...

There is a saying that goes like this, "A Woman is like a present....  I subscribe to that philosophy greatly, and it is in that spirit that I present the Beauty set of lingerie from Blacklace. Mariska Dufour is the creative genius behind Blacklace.  Her company and her designs come from a place of both beauty and sensuality - and trust me - Blacklace has both in abundance.

I cannot tell you how sexy I feel wearing this set.  The details of bows and lace are so perfectly done - and you all know how I love those little touches.
Ladies, if you have a special friend you want to impress - get this set!  Gentleman, if you want to treat your lady right, and thrill her to peices - get this set!  You will be glad you did...

She Looks Fast Just Standing Still...

I met a new designer today.  Vasso Graves is the designer and owner of Blackrose Fashions.  As you will no doubt pick up from my previous columns, I am a stickler about details in the clothing I write about.  So with that in mind you may be surprised to read my next statement.  Vasso Graves has produced clothing of the finest quality i have seen in a while.  Her mesh items are flawless and have a texture and detail that is nearly unmatched.
I literally could not wait to style and shoot this clothing.  For this styling I chose her Zippered Mini along with a striped top.  The fit of each item was again - flawless.  The texturing and shadows were a wonder to behold - exquisite workmanship is so evident.  To finish this outfit I chose thigh high Valquiria boots from Kungler, Jewels from Lazuri, and a stunning hair from the lovely Vikeejean at Loovus Dzevoor.  My makeup is by Blackliquid as are the wonderful Slink nails she produces. I added a Ferrari-style car from Felgo Motors and am thrilled with the results.

Not only is this a lovely outfit, the quality is amazing.  Vasso and I talked a bit and she is a darling woman who truly enjoys producing these creations.  This clothing line is a sure hit.  I told her her prices were too low, so RUN, do not walk, to get yours today...

Angel or Demon?

This weekend I was invited to attend a Phantom of the Opera themed ball with the Social Club. As it was a formal event,I went to my source of inspiration for all things formal - Azul.  Mami has so many stunning choices but my Google search narrowed the field to a lacy, white, and flowing dress. I quickly located Rachel and was thrilled to find it matched my requirements precisely.
As you can see, he overall look is one of restrained elegance - there are no flashing extras to be found here, nor are they needed.  I love the romantic feel of this gown - it feels like... Love.  I completed the look with some Lazuri jewels and some slingbacks from Gos and had a great time dancing.
As I have mentioned in previous columns, I just adore the detailing of Mami's Creations - Rachel upholds that fine tradition - the lace work alone is exceptional.  This gown was a real crowd pleaser.  Run, do not walk, to get yours today...

And yes, I did feel Angelic in this lovely creation...

On the Town in Style...

Nathalia Topaz, the owner and creator of Topazia as well as the founder of Your Fashion Dresscode sent me a lovely design the other day to blog.  Her Greyson ensemble is a beautiful and elegant creation that is just right for so many settings.

The sheer lace top with darling ruffles at the neck and wrists is quite well done and I found that it added such a delightful flair to the overall look of the design.  Alexandra Nichols of NV Corsetry sent along her exceptional MKUltra Platforms and together they make a compelling outfit.
This is a fun outfit to wear.  I immediately took it to complete the obligatory dance test, which it passed with flying colors.

This outfit is sure to be a hit at any function you wear it for.

Posing Sinfully...

I love the days Mami releases new gowns for Azul.  Today Malika showed up and all I could say was WOW!  I love this gown so much, it is both an incredibly detailed and luscious example of the art of Second Life.  As usual the array of colors for this gown are just stunning.  I chose the turquoise version of Malika and found it such a joy to wear and shoot in the studio.

the rich color captures the eye immediateely, but it is the attention to detail Mami puts into each of her creations that focuses the eye.  As I have said in previous posts, I always feel so elegant wearing an Azul creation.  Malika is no exception.
The gown's fit is suburb, and I needed no edits to achieve this look.  Coupled with Lazuri jewels and Truth hair I felt ready to dance!

This gown is sure to be a hit at any function you wear it for.  Run, do not walk, to get yours today...

She Screams So Sweetly...

OK, that's an awful lot of "S" words there but after seeing the topic of today's blog you'll understand why they are so very necessary...  Well I HOPE you do at least...

Mami Jewell is a fashion icon in Second Life.  Her contributions as the creator and owner of Azul are legendary, as are many of the gowns she has created over the years.  Many models got launched into fame wearing an Azul gown.

So how come all the screaming?  Well, it's Halloween and Mami has created a very beautiful yet scary outfit for the season.  The key is that it is a LIMITED outfit.  So, since you already know you want this dress better get ready for the rush.
Before I start, let me just say the craws, jewels and teeth are mine :)  Well, a girl has to have *some* toys!   This outfit is called Malika and it is a stunning black brocade bustier top coupled with a lush feathered skirt.  The black lace fingerless gloves complete this jewel of an outfit.  Oh, I forgot the skulls.  Yes, you can really tell it's Halloween because of the many skulls.  The overall effect is one of elegant terror.
As I said, I added the claws and teeth and jewels as well as some sufficiently scary looking shoes to make an outfit that really hit the mark.  Suffice to say, you will love how this turns out.

Picture Perfect

I adore the creativity and brilliance of Vikeejean Xevion.  This woman is one of the best designers in Second Life, and her Loovus Dzevoor brand consistently produces some of the most innovative and stunning designs on the grid.  After seeing a recent ad, I asked Vikeejean if I could blog her latest creation - Innosense.  Vikeejean produced this gem for the LIV-GLAM Boutique hunt gift that starts on 10/27/2013.

I was drawn to the use of a luscious transparent layer over a bold leopard print design. The resulting look is so very alluring.
As you can see, the overall look is a bright splash of color against the autumn backdrop of Neva Sky Villi.  I feel that this look is a sweet, sophisticated ensemble that works from the boardroom to a cocktail party.  Needless to say, this dress did pass the dance test as well!
As with every creation from LD, the outfit's fit and detailing is suburb.  Coupled with some jewels from Mandala, and shoes from Co Fiftyseven the results are quite nice.

This dress is sure to go fast.  Make certain you get to the LIV-GLAM Boutique hunt today!
